This afternoon I was watching my son and two nephews playing with an Ipad. It was amazing to see how engaged they were with the device. Not only were they entertained but they were playing educational games...and loving it. I was thinking, if I had asked them to read, draw or even go on an educational website I never would have been able to pry them away. So much can be said for the power of Ipads and other such devices.If students are so interested in using these devices, we need to embrace them in the classroom and as they say, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!"
